I installed drigg on another 5.7 site and so far I don't have the problem, so something went wrong along the way on the first site. Any ideas on this would be appreciated, I don't want it to happen again. Also it would be nice to fix it on the first site.
It probably is something I stuffed-up because it works on one site and not on another. It is just very weird that checking and unchecking that one box turns the page on and off for that user. I'll see if I can figure it out and call for your help if I can't.

I can't leave "administer nodes" checked for all users to view scoops. Wondering if it is a 5.7 problem.

This really seems to be a matter of checking the right box in "User Acces"... (Something other than "Administer nodes", obviously!).
Every single time I have offered personalised, free help, I have found some silly settings in the Drupal.
So, I am happy to come and help you. But if it _were_ a genuine configuration stuff-up, I will charge $60 to fix it.
