DRIGG: Feature freeze

Hello everybody,

The current version of Driggi s a disaster. For the next 2 weeks, there will be a strict "feature freeze": only bix fixes will go towards Drigg. [UPDATE: OK, it's no longer a disaster. I fixed the bugs that afflicted so many users. However, the "bugfix only" policy stays]

Right now the Javascript is slightly broken (that needs to be completely fixed) and Drigg is showing problems with IE in terms of IE's cache.

I was always proud of the fact that Drigg was immensely stable. I am learning that accepting patches by other people is risky, and needs a lot of attention. I pity Linus Torvalds -- and I understand him a lot better now.

So, PLEASE update to the latest Drigg and let me know if the problems are now fixed. And let's remember that the point of Drigg is to keep it nice and stable.

Bye,

Merc.

Is there any update on the next version?

I've downloaded and installed the latest version. I'll be experimenting with it over the next weeks.

Is there any update on the next version/freeze on feature development?

This is a great module, I look froward to any news about it's ongoing development.

To update or not to update?

Hi. I haven't updated to the recent release which I understand condensed the install. Would you say upgrading is essential or can I live with the original release for a while? Thanks.

Up to you...

Hi,

The latest version of Drigg are actually good. We only went through a bad week...
However, the most recent version of Drigg did go through quite a lot of rewrites etc. So, upgrading is recommended, but with a lot of care.

Merc.

Hi,

Apologies... at the moment, we cannot offer assistance and are in no position to get in a partnership.
I suggest you get in touch with the Drupal community, and do some research.
