Export from localhost to server
Posted May 19th, 2008 by jbj
Hi everyone;
I played with drigg the whole week end and configured it a lot, and now I want to move the localhost installation to a real server.
Here's what I plan to do:
-Make a dump of mysql
-Replace "http://localhost" by "http://www.myserver" in the dump
-Upload files
-Import mysql dump to the server databse.
Is it simple as that, or I forgot something? I must admit that i'm a bit afraid to have .htaccess problems then.
Thanks in advance for your answers and keep up the good work!
How to
