Drigg and vBdrupal
Posted May 27th, 2008 by all4data
Hi all, only discovered your Drigg now.
I currently use Pligg and I currently use www.vbdrupal.org, is there no way that drigg can be developed as a module that would be compatible with vBdrupal, please?
If you do so, I believe you will be on to a winner for vBulletin users
Thank kindly

vbDrupal
I read from the link that "vbDrupal is a fork of the CMS Drupal", but does that mean that it is a hacked version of drupal's core? Or just integrated databases?
I would recommend setting up a quick test site and install vbDrupal and try to follow the install directions for drigg to see if it works. If the core of drupal is left intact then I can't see why all drupal modules wouldn't work with the system unless there is a specific compatibility issue.
Remember, drigg is just an add on module (a very powerful one) for drupal. However, I am not the familiar with vbDrupal, what else can you tell me about it? Is there a reason why drigg or other normal drupal modules wouldn't work with it?

Wow .. John if this works
Wow .. John if this works you will find a number of vBdrupal users flocking to this
vBdrupal does not interfere with the Drupal core, it is more a bridge which allows for the usergroups to share the vBulletin backend
I will see whether I can do this with one of my vBdrupal sites
will go to Drupal and download the Drigg module and then see what takes place
Will provide feedback

edit: it has installed without problems and I have informed the vBdrupal staff and have asked them to test it as well .. this is a big plus for both projects
I can't support it...
Hi,
I can't provide direct support for a fork of Drupal... but I am glat do see some community support for this!
Merc.
Hi merc there is nothing for
Hi merc
there is nothing for you to support regarding vBdrupal
vBdrupal simply needs to check how Drigg affects the functionality of vBdrupal
this basically brings together
Drigg - Drupal - vBulletin
this is something which is awesome
