Question about license for drigg

I couldn't find a category for open questions, so I thought I would ask here.

I'm planning on building a digg-like site with some new customized features, and I've decided that Pligg is very unappealing due to the Affero license. Is Drigg issued under a standard GPL? I don't see anything on the site that states the license info.

I am not planning to repackage and sell the code, just publish my own site based on a digg-like foundation (ideally Drigg if all works out). Again, I'm not interested in customizing code if the license requires that I have to give up the source on demand (though I would be happy to make std source available).

Any info is appreciated.

This might help

As I understand it, Drupal is licensed under GLP and therefore any drupal modules made publicly available (drigg) for drupal are GLPed.

I found this thread here that might help explain some of your questions:

http://drupal.org/node/30708

If I am wrong or that doesn't help I am sure Merc (driggs creator) will answer your question shortly.

Hope that helps,

Thanks

It IS GPL

Hi,

I can confirm that it's all PURE GPL. It's a requirement for all Drupal modules -- and I would do it anyway.

Bye!

Merc.
