I come from Pligg, I come confused. Please help.

Hey guys, nifty software, few problems.
I tried searching first, so if I failed to find the answer, I am sorry, I did try searching first.

I am trying to configure Drigg and Drupal for what we need, we are replacing MK Portal and our Failed Pligg attempt with your software.

In beta testing today us Admins are trying to post scoops, when we click on a scoop to "view" the link we are directed not to the URL provided, but to the exact same page we are on. So in essence the scoop links are not navigating to the URL we designated them to go to, looking into the edit section shows the proper URL, but it wont work.

In the edit section, or submitting for that matter I can not choose a category other than "News" I have several.

karma Error Communication when trying to vote up karma.

Vote button does not show, or ability to vote up/down an article

Trying to submit a Digg, or any other sites RSS Feed to "fill up" my Scoop section has me baffled, they wont work, PSD TUTS RSS worked fine, but Gizmodo, Digg did not work.

I just installed this today, i like it, Your software will allow me to get rid of aging crappy portal software like MKPortal, and allow me the Digg like aggregate for our "content", a blog for our members to post Beer brewing tips, and more, I really like this software, just so much to go through to try and set up. I am not a web person at all, i dont know much, it is not my field. I am just stuck with the work, ha ha.
