Adding Subcategories or Secondary Categories

I'm new to drupal/drigg and so far I find it quite impressive and easy to use. I am having a problem setting up the categories the way I would like for new posts. For example, I want a user to be required to choose a specific category for their post (ex: Movies, Games, Music, etc.). I would also like it to require them to choose a subcategory, depending upon which category they are posting in. For example, if they posted something in Movies, I would want them to have the option to choose comedy, horror, romance, etc. If they post something in Games, I want them to have to choose Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, etc.
From what I can tell, I can add multiple categories options, however, I can't differentiate them so that only the movie genres (comedy, horror, etc.) show up when the primary category Movies is chosen and console options (360, ps3, wii) show up when primary category Games is chosen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Subcategories have just been dded to Drigg. The best thing you can do is wait for the new version of Drigg (coming out very soon) and use that one.

How do you add sub categories in the current version of Drigg ? I read this http://wt.similibus.org/tag/drigg/ ... is that how its to be done ? Also, what about content already on your site ? Like I would like to create a category called News and under that have a subcategory called Business. I already have a category called Business how can I move content from that to the subcategory ?

Hi,
Go to admin->Categories. Change the taxonomy used by drigg so that iit allows Hiherarchy. Then add terms underneath existing ones.
Ask Drupal forums or read the Drupal handbook if you are not sure how to do that. It's pretty intuitive though :-D
