Manual updateof rss feed work but not scheduled? What am I missing?
Also I dont have any cron jobs scheduled when I look in my hosts control panel... Are there any I need to schedule?

I am not understanding your questions. I can say one thing: you *need* the cron tasks to run. that much, I guarantee.
