Error 500 - Internal server error
Posted January 28th, 2008 by saj0916
I recently started a drigg installation and it all seemed to work fine until I tried to create a user. I recieve the error "Error 500 - Internal server error" anytime I click on a link on the homepage. I believe it has to do with the .htaccess file. I have changed the line "#RewriteBase /drupal --> RewriteBase / . If anyone had an idea I would appreciate it. Thanks.
Awesome
I have 1and1 and this worked for me. My problem was I was getting a 500 error when trying to post a scoop. I have another issue but this is one step. Thanks.
Every time I tried running update.php, I received the 500 error. I tried all of the "uncommenting" fixes, created a php.ini file, etc. to no avail. I finally found a fix that is 1and1 specific and it actually WORKED! Imagine that!
You add the line
AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
to your htaccess file
I got the fix from http://gregorytucker.us/?p=46.
Hope this helps...
Apache issue?
Hi,
This seems to be an Apache issue.
What's the server error log and access log?
My ability to help with Apache issue is limited, but hopefully somebody else here will know.
Merc.
