Configure Drigg
Drigg is a very complex piece of software. Its power comes from its flexibility. But, this comes at a price - there are many, many configuration options which will change the way your site works.
There are three main Drupal sections which define how Drigg behaves and look:
- Administer -> Site Configuration -> Extra Voting Forms
- Administer -> Site Configuration -> User Karma
- Administer -> Site Configuration -> Drigg
- Administer -> Site Configuration -> Look of the Drigg module
- Administer -> Site Configuration -> Drigg - embedded objects management
Extra Voting Forms
This module provides the Ajax voting forms and the vote-spam protection system.
User Karma
User Karma is the module that recalculates the users' karma values after each vote is cast.
Drigg
Drigg is responsible for the definition of the "Scoop" node type, and the auto-promotion of stories. It also provides a very intelligent menu system that allows you to browse through existing scoops.
Look of the Drigg Module
Drigg has several configuration options. It made sense to separate the "visual" ones from the "functional ones". That's why all of the "visual" options in Drigg are here.
Drigg - embedded objects management
Drigg handles objects. For example, if you point to a Youtube video, it will embed a screenshot in your story. More contents will be added in the future.
